Welcome! I'm so glad you took time out of your day to stop by!
I'm Nikki. A Florida native raised in Georgia. I've been married fourteen years now to my handsome husband, Keith, a Georgia boy. We have four beautiful Whitley babies. Together we are raising our family in sunny South Florida.. with the help of the good Lord of course.
For most of our marriage I have been a stay at home mom and wife working only here and there. Originally a college drop out, I finally graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice in 2015. While in my third trimester with my third child. Whew! I am not currently using my degree but I'm grateful to have it.
For over ten years I stayed at home full time. Then at the end of 2019, right before the global pandemic, I decided to get a job working at a nursing home. I talked to my husband about my plan to work and homeschool and, even though I was nervous, we decided that I would go to work with the understanding that if at any point it became too much for me, I would come back home full time. One of our top priorities is, and always will be, homeschooling our children. This is where I find myself today. Working full time and homeschool our four beautiful Whitley babies.
I've always had a strong urge to write as a creative outlet. I also thought it would be a beautiful way to record this miraculous journey of homeschooling my children. So, it goes without saying that you will find homeschool related content and posts here, but I want you to know that you will also find other things here too. Things that are a reflection of what I love, what is going on in my heart from day to day and beautiful places that we visit. There might even be a poem or two.. we'll see. I don't want to put myself and what I write into any box and take away all spontaneity. That is just not who I am. So, if you are reading this, my hope is that you find something here that interests, encourages, inspires and/or helps you in some way.
